Cookie policy
Which cookies netradar.ro uses, what they are for and how you can change your choice at any time from the site footer.
Last updated: 10 September 2026.
In short
This site uses strictly necessary cookies so that the pages work and — only if you agree — measurement cookies (Google Analytics 4) and marketing cookies (Google Ads). Until you accept, the Google tools neither write nor read cookies on your device. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the site footer.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are very small text files that a website saves in your browser. Alongside them, technologies with a similar effect may be used: browser local storage areas (localStorage, sessionStorage) and tracking pixels — invisible images that signal that a page has been loaded. In this policy we call all of them „cookies”.
Who sets them
First-party cookies — set directly by netradar.ro. These are the ones that remember your chosen language and your cookie choice, and that protect the forms.
Third-party cookies — set by Google, through the analytics and advertising tools described below. These only load after you accept them.
We do not use advertising networks outside Google and we have no social network pixels on this site.
The categories we use
1. Strictly necessary — cannot be refused
Without them the site does not work, so they load from the start. They are not used for analytics or advertising.
- pll_language — remembers the language you chose to view the site in. Duration: 1 year. First-party cookie.
- cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_policy_id, cmplz_consented_services — remember that you have seen the banner and which version of the policy you accepted. Duration: up to 365 days. First-party cookie.
- cmplz_functional, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_marketing, cmplz_preferences — record exactly which categories you accepted or refused. Without them we would ask you on every page. Duration: up to 365 days. First-party cookie.
- Local storage of the questionnaire (sessionStorage) — if you start the questionnaire and leave the page, your answers stay saved in your browser until you close the window, so you do not have to start over. Nothing leaves your device and it is deleted automatically at the end of the session or when you submit the form.
- Form session cookies — protect the form against automated submissions and hold the data you entered until you press „Send”. Duration: the browsing session. First-party cookie.
2. Measurement — Google Analytics 4
Loaded only if you accept the „statistics” category. The property used is G-DXHPL5Z4W2.
What it shows us: how many people visit the site, from which source (Google search, an ad, a direct link), which pages they read and for how long, what type of device and browser they use, their approximate city, and what actions they take — for example whether they started the form, submitted it, tapped the phone number or the WhatsApp button.
What we do not do: we never send your name, phone number, address or email to Analytics. Your IP address is not stored by Google Analytics 4 — it is used momentarily to infer the approximate geographic area and then discarded.
- _ga — distinguishes visitors from one another through a random identifier. Duration: up to 2 years.
- _ga_DXHPL5Z4W2 — keeps the session state for this property. Duration: up to 2 years.
3. Marketing — Google Ads
Loaded only if you accept the „marketing” category. The advertising account used is AW-18437773012.
We use them for three concrete things:
- Conversion measurement — so that we know which ad and which search term actually led to a check request. Without this we would be paying for ads without knowing which of them work.
- Remarketing — if you visited the site and did not complete the form, we may show you a message again within the Google network. You can leave these lists by refusing the marketing category or from your Google ad settings.
- Frequency capping and exclusions — so that we do not show you the same ad dozens of times and so that we do not pay for ads shown to someone who has already sent us a request.
- _gcl_au — links the click on an ad to the action taken on the site, so that the conversion can be counted. Duration: up to 90 days. First-party cookie, set by the Google tag.
- Google cookies on the google.com and doubleclick.net domains (for example NID, IDE) — used by Google to serve and measure ads. Duration: set by Google, between a few months and two years. Third-party cookies.
When you submit a check form or press „Send order” on a package from the offers page, we send Google Ads a conversion event: the fact that a request was sent, which campaign you came from and which form variant you used. We do not send your name, phone number, address or the content of your message. The event is only sent if you have accepted the marketing category.
4. Google Tag Manager
The container GTM-WVHZGP2L is only the mechanism through which we load the tags above. It does not set tracking cookies of its own and does not collect data about you — but it respects your choice: if you refuse a category, the corresponding tags do not fire.
Google Consent Mode v2
The Google tags on this site run with consent mode enabled. In practice:
- Before you choose anything, the Google tags neither write nor read analytics or advertising cookies.
- If you refuse, they stay in this restricted state. Google may receive strictly technical, aggregated signals — for example that a page was loaded — without identifiers linking you to a particular visit.
- If you accept, the tags operate fully, with the cookies described above.
What exactly we do with the marketing data
We promote this site through ads on the Google search network. Here is what the data collected through the cookies above is used for:
- We count how many check requests come from each campaign, ad group and search term, so that we can stop what does not work and invest in what does.
- We send these conversions back to Google Ads, so that automated bidding learns which kind of visitor ends up completing the form.
- We build audience lists for remarketing and exclusion lists.
- We compare which landing pages convert better, so that we can improve the weaker ones.
What we do not do: we do not sell or rent your data; we do not use it for other companies campaigns; we do not combine browsing data with the data you entered in the form in order to build an individual profile about you; we do not take automated decisions producing legal effects concerning you.
Campaign management is carried out on our behalf by a marketing agency, which has access to the advertising and analytics accounts under a data processing agreement.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google Analytics and Google Ads are provided by Google Ireland Limited, with infrastructure that may involve transfers to Google LLC in the United States. These transfers take place under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google is certified, supplemented by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
How to change or withdraw your choice
Click the cookie settings link in the footer of any page. The banner reopens and you can tick or untick any category. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal, but it stops future processing immediately.
You can also:
- delete or block cookies directly from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each have a privacy section);
- install the official Google Analytics opt-out add-on, from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout;
- adjust your advertising preferences in your Google account, at myadcenter.google.com.
If you block strictly necessary cookies, some features of the site — language selection, form submission — will stop working.
The full, up-to-date list
The site is scanned periodically, and the full list of detected cookies, with the duration and provider of each, is available in the consent banner, in the services management section.
Changes
If we add or remove a measurement or advertising tool, we update this page and the date at the top of it. If the change concerns a category that requires consent, we will ask for your consent again.
